Hey guys, I’ve picked up playing again. Right after Pirates came out I made a brawler(Darrrkning), and some guild mates were killing Anegos for some friends and I so that we could leech our ways through the levels as fast as possible. About 5 days later I hit level 70, and in the few weeks after that we had several 2x events and finally hit 108 where I stopped playing it(nothing special, I just got bored).

After that I tried out a gunslinger(Whyplash) and that’s been more fun but I still lost interest in MS after a while until a few weeks ago where I got back into it again. I’m training the Gunner again, and it’s level 104 as of now. With the upcoming 36 hour 2x Event for the Maple Anniversary I’m going to try and get to at least 110. However due to it happening on Mother’s Day I’m not too sure I’ll get to play as much as I want since we’re driving down to visit family and since everyone in my family lives in the same town I’ll be visiting family all day Sunday so I’m not sure how much I’ll actually get to play. 2 hour drive home on Monday sooooooo w/e I’ll level as much as I can.  By the end of the month I want to be 120+ for sure. Depending on how I feel once I hit 120 I may try to get the Brawler to 120+ as well. Nexon released alot of cool balances for Brawlers to be stronger and more efficient(removed cooldowns on dragon strike and barrage).

As far as the Night Lord….. training it is a pain but I may get some levels this month with the EXP per level reduction that they’ve done as part of an event this month. I went from needing 502m exp at 173 to needing 401m at 173. A little less than the exp required to level at 169. The other day I bought a 6 dex branch nose the other day, which helps me wear my Dragon Sleeve with Maple Warrior since I got the 10 attack Naricain pendant. My base dex is at 85 now and I’ll probably stick with that unless they come out with the 2nd and 3rd eggs for the horntail pendant. I’ll upload some pictures of my equips later. I still have a 4 attack 6 luk cape and 4 dex 2attack facestompers so I can grow in those areas, given Chaos Scrolls are down to about 90m in Windia so maybe once I make some more money I can try and upgrade.

As far as offline stuff goes I’m actually in my math class right now(break). I can’t remember if I mentioned in my last post but I started going to college at ITT-Tech in Charlotte, NC back in December 2008. So I have class 3 nights a week which is considered full-time for this school. Instead of semesters the schedule is split up into quarters and I have classes throughout the summer, with a 2 week break between this quarter(spring) and summer. Last class for this quarter is on the 22nd of May, 2 days before my 20th birthday and I’m definitely looking forward to that.

Hey guys, been quiiiiiite a while. Pretty much lost most of my interest with ms for a while, and I’m barely on for bossing now. However, I did name change a few weeks ago in an attempt to spike my interest again… didn’t work so well. I’m still happy with the name though. I changed from D4rkn1ng to WhyteBar. To boot with the name change, I made a new video last week in hope to spread out the word that I had name changed but I think theres still lots of people that don’t know my new ign.

I made a new claw a few weeks ago as well, right before the name change, it’s a 65 attack 9 luk purple dragon sleeve. 4 att, 6luk upgrade from my old Casters I made back when Leafre first came out. I haven’t been getting many claws from peter since I upgraded, but hopefully one of the next ones I get(whenever that is) will turn out better than this. Even though I made this 65, I’m still quite behind in the times given that most of the other night lords in our bossing group have close to 70+ attack or higher claws.

As for offline news, my best friend from Italy came to visit my family and I for a month or so, so he’ll be here till December 4th. I’ve been busy with him lately just showing him all the best parts of South Carolina and the Charlotte area(it’s his 1st time here since he was old enough to pay attention to stuff). I went hiking with the youth group at church the other day and up til then I thought I was getting in pretty good physical shape… guess again. My calves have never hurt so bad as they did while hiking up that mountain.

I think thats about it for now, Pirates are coming out tomorrow or Wednesday on Maple, although I don’t think I’ll be playing one(at least not for a while), I’m looking forward to the new variety in classes. My dexless sin is up to 85 now, but I haven’t touched it in a few weeks. I should probably get onto that… hmm.

So I’ve finally gotten around to making one, and here it is. x)

I hit 167 sometime last week as well. Peter bought me a 2x card for our bossing timeslot so I’ve been getting exp alot quicker now. :3

So its been like a really long time since I last blogged, sorry to disappoint those of you that check back so often in hopes of something interesting to read. I’ve been really really busy with church, moving(new house about 15 minutes away from the old one, we finally got moved in on monday), going to concerts, and lots more.
Maple-wise I’ve been playing on a couple of private-servers(lol) the past week and a half or so, they’re a pretty nice distraction when the stress of high-level grinding gets heavy(whee 2-3% an hour at best). The first one I tried out was pandorams, you can get it/download the client and sign up at www.pandorams.com, the other was called MeMS, and it featured a ‘rebirth’ feature where once you hit level 200, you could save your skills and stats from the previous class, and start over at level 1 as a new one. Sorta like that thing that happened with the tespia server last time around, bowmasters with shadow partner and advanced combo wtf. You can get that one at 96gaming.info.

On real maple, that is, the only that matters, I hit 164 around 2 weeks after the last post I made, and then 165 probably about 3 weeks after that. I’ve just been so busy offline lately that I haven’t had much desire to subject myself to grinding for hours upon end when theres better things to do out there.
I’ve been going to horntail and Zakum semi-regularly, sometimes church goes too late and I don’t make it in time for the runs, but I go when I’m home and able. Sorry to sound like I’m flaking off responsabilities within the bossing group, but spending time with God > spending time fighting a boss for the 1000th time(don’t get me wrong, I love you guys and love the bossing). Maybe things will stabilize sometime soon and I’ll be able to become fully regular again. Maybe my training motivation will come back to me, and I’ll see if I can find a window of 4 hours where I could buy a 2x card to not make my training efforts null and void.

I’d like to throw a congratulations out to the top 5 people that won the nexon anniversary event, the winners did a great job, and retalion definitely deserved the 1st place that he managed to pull off. I should’ve tried to make a video as well, looks like people had more fun than I thought they would with their submissions.

Speaking of videos, I think I might make another ‘epic’ video of my Night Lord in a few levels, once I max Maple Warrior and maybe even get a chance to attempt a zakum solo. Until then…. I think I’m done mentioning whats been going on. I’ve gotta go do some work in Atlanta for a few days, maybe a week – not sure, gps-installing in the heat won’t be so fun. @_@ Here’s a few pics of some of the happenings over the past month.

Been a while since I’ve posted, I need to start blogging more often again to lessen the load. @_@

To start things off I’ll say the youth group that I go to at church on Thursday nights had a few of the guys go down to Lakeland, Florida(where theres apparently a huge revival going on), and they pretty much brought the revival back up here with them. XD It’s been awesome, and God’s doing some insane stuff at church, we’ve started having services every night, so I’ve been kinda busy with those…. Hence my recent disappearances around horntail/zakum time.

Maple-wise, I hit 163 last week sometime, amidst all the crazy stuff going on…. I figure 166 is a good goal level for now, at that point I’ll have max triple throw and maple hero.

I didn’t get selected for Tespia, as I had hoped. Figures they gotta pick (mostly) noobs that don’t know what they’re doing, and hold the alter and even PAP for Heaven’s sake. I heard that much from Retalion’s Blog. Maybe some of the people that got selected will be competent enough to solve the problems in the content.(Retal you’re in the clear I’m sure you’re doing a good job!)

On other notes, I got Triple Throw 30 the other night, and I got my Nine Spirit’s egg as well, which means +22 to all stats necklace and a crazy amount of extra def,mdef and avoid. Video below to summarize the process of upgrading.

I think thats about it, I’ll try to post more often to catch more of the little details.

I’ve had a pretty eventful week, and I can’t say it was very good at all to top things off…. About 2 months ago my dad had a crazy allergic attack/reaction after eating at a Mexican restaurant… He pretty much almost died, because he didn’t have any type of meds for the attack or treatment to suppress the inflammation and congestion that happened in his lungs(he couldn’t breath or get a breath due to his airway being constricted)…. Thankfully though he was at church when the attack happened and people just started praying for him and his lungs opened up enough for him to breathe.. the ambulances came shortly after and he was in the hospital for 2 days… since then he’s made tons of trips to the allergists to find out what caused it, and he’s narrowed it down to cilantro and coriander, two types of parsley-ish plants/seeds. I won’t bother you with the details, but pretty much it was a testament to how miracles do happen. Every doctor he’s spoken to said your lungs don’t just open up like that after having an allergic attack without meds or induced steroids…
Anyways back on track this week I had gone with him to help with his work(installing GPS tracking systems on commercial vehicles) and while we were out to eat, he had eaten a pickle slice(apparently they use coriander as part of the pickling process, he didn’t know) and also on top of the food they had sprinkled parsley flakes for decoration(he didn’t know at the time he was allergic to that too)… and he wound up having another major reaction and his airway got inflamed or swollen or whatever and he couldn’t breathe. Luckily he had his Epipen(a type of anti-allergen steroid injection thing)… so he was able to breathe again, but since we were out of town and it was quite serious he went to the hospital, so I stayed there with him for that night and the next day(it happened on Thursday, came home on Friday).. so all the while I was slightly traumatized having seen him like that not being able to breathe. I’m doing fine now though, and so is he, thank God. x)

Luckily this week was started off fine and things are looking bright!

To start it off I hit 162 yesterday! One more level and I’ll be able to attack during the tail at Hornail, and be 100% useful there. I believe I’ve gone and survived on about 6-7 runs now. x) Still pumping points into HP, and hoping for things to sell in the MTS so that I can afford AP Resets(Once you spend jack, you can’t go back). I haven’t charged nx with real money in months now, and it feels good not to be wasting offline cash.

Icing on the cake, I got my Horntail Pendant last night! 7 str, 7 dex, 7 int, 7 luk, 108 defense, 108 magic defense, 24 avoid and 3 slots left. I’m told this is average, and that’s fine by me. It’ll be a while before I can get my egg(the scroll for the necklace, +15 all stats and a crapload of def/mdef/avoid. 100% success)… but that’s fine, this is a wonderful accomplishment to have, and quite monumental barrier for myself and my characters progress and strength. Thanks to everyone that helped me get so far. :3

So I hit 161, and with that am able to survive at horntail with my claw on after the tail and legs die. So far I’ve been on 3 runs this level, and survived and lived through each and every one, without even dying. Of course, the tail and leg part is supposed to be the most difficult part of the whole fight, and since I haven’t been taking part in it…. I guess surviving after that really isn’t much of an accomplishment but the fights are still cool as heck. xD

They actually require that you pay really close attention and listen to instructions, while zakum and pap and pianus require your attention and ability to obey as well, it’s nowhere near on the same level as Horntail… I’m sure I’ll be saying the same thing about HT though once another big boss comes out.

Regarding the skills that concern me, and the pendant that drops from HT…. I’m in no rush really, there’s other people that need them more than I do and I’m totally fine with them getting the skills/pendants. Not that I don’t want them, I’d be lying to say I didn’t want TT30, MW20 or a necklace, and I’ll gladly accept them when it’s my turn to loot but until then theres no point whining or complaining about the issue.

For those of you that don’t know about the necklace/pendant that drops from Horntail, it’s a 7str, 7dex, 7int, 7luk(average), and lots of defense/avoid necklace that as 3 slots on it. The item you use to scroll the pendant is an egg that horntail only drops one of per fight. Each egg adds 15 to all stats, extra avoid and defense, and has a 100% success rate. In the end if you +3 your necklace(assuming you’re allowed to loot the eggs for 3 runs) you should have a 52/52/52/52 /xx avoid/xx acc xx def necklace… really one of the best if not the best equip in the game.

Also, with the most recent minipatch, they introduced the Maple Trade System(also known as MTS). It’s a type of cash shop/store place in the game that lets you buy or sell items with NX. Really useful for those people that can’t get access to NX for themselves, yet have tons of items worth selling. With that system, since the past few levels that I’ve been putting all of my AP into HP, I was able to purchase the AP Resets to wash the points out of MP and back into luk, so it’s saving me alot of money. When I’m done washing I’ll have used around 60k worth of NX, and that sure is something I would not want to have had to pay for with dollars and offline money. Kudos to Nexon for releasing such a good feature into the game.

First off, I have new NX now!

It’s been 10 days since my last update, quite a bit has happened since then regarding Maple. To start off they had a patch about 2 days after my last post, and that solved all of the current hacking problems(nobody was seen hacking for a while, still haven’t seen PG hackers). In that patch they added a new party quest called Carnival PQ, Horntail, and they also resolved the bow/xbow mortal blow disconnection glitch*que cries of joy from all archers*. So the day after the patch came out some friends and I went to do the party quests, to get ready for our big group-run, and we just wound up fighting the prelim heads and getting to the ‘final form’… which was pretty amazing, we took out the 2 preliminary heads with 1 party that 30 people in other versions have gotten destroyed by. A few days after that we had our group run to HT, and we pretty much got destroyed by the seduce and other 9k foot attacks that we didn’t know how to avoid or get around….. it was a great experience, and I pretty much decided that even though I had ever bit of hp gear I could wear on(including shield and tube LOL), I still didn’t have enough HP to survive the 7.8k damages that the tail does, given I manage to avoid the 9k+ damage that the legs do. I won’t be going back to HT anytime soon, at least not till I can gain some more levels and pour all the ap points into HP, and upgrade the necklace that comes from the CPQ(Carnival), with HP scrolls(3slots).

On other notes, I leveled up to 160 today, and after pouring those ap points into HP, I finally have over 4k hp without equips on… pretty nice knowing I can fight pap without hyper body now and not need any HP equipment. It’s also pretty nice knowing I’m 2x the level of lv. 80 people. I hope I can hit like 163 or 164 asap so that I can start fighting Horntail with the group… that’ll be nice.

Also, the group killed Horntail tonight taking the spot of 2nd legit GMS server kill, and the first legit windian kill(by legit I mean not hacked, and yes hackers have gotten ahold of it already). Congratulations to them…. taking it down in 2 and a half hours on the 2nd corporal try ever is really nice. I wish I could’ve been there but I suppose it’s my own fault. I knew I should’ve hp washed a long time ago when I had the chance, and I still didn’t. Even more motivation to level for me, gogogogogo!

k so like, Friday… umm, some idiot like decided to make the MISS/PG/SUCKMYBACK hack get out, and now it’s ruining the game, hardcore. Hackers everywhere, at skelogons, newties, cornians, dragon turtles EVERYWHERE in leafre you can think of, I hear ludi is invaded too…. Nexon had better do something quick, these tards are really starting to piss me off…. making like insane lag with all their cheats and whatnot…. not to mention they have no respect at all, several times I’ve actually managed to get in a party at skelogons on a map where the hackers weren’t already taking over, only for them to come into the map, and totally ignore us and start hacking. All without saying a word.
I’ve got so many screenshots of these hackers… I’d love to upload them but wordpress doesn’t have an option to upload 1k SS’s. It seems like half of the entire maple community in windia is hacking now…

Also amidst all the confusion with the hackers, I managed to level up to 159. Woot woot one more till 160 bay bayyy! I managed to break into 72x base luk, too. Meaning I get an extra point of luk from maple warrior!

Also last night after Zakum I got together a few friends and we decided to see how fast we could kill Pap, so here’s the result… not bad at all for 1 party.

On other notes, I’m feeling anxious for no reason, and since I can’t play MS thanks to douchebags hacking, I think after I eat I’mma go to the skatepark for an hour or two… laters!

Everything’s all normal with training and whatnot, slowly making my way to 159… Maybe tomorrow? I leveled my level 34 ice/lightning wizard earlier just by doing the crystal ilbi forging manual quest. xD 40k per, and I did it 11 times… went to level 37, so that was a nice. I still need 3 more crystal shards and 6 more Naricain jewels and then I can really start worrying about luk and dark crystals. The crystal ilbis aren’t rechargeable yet, so I forged the manuals, and I’m just going to keep those like that until they are. Once they are rechargeable I’d like to have a full 20 right off the bat. It’d be kinda pointless to sacrifice my ilbis now to make them only for a one-time use.

I just got Call of Duty 4, gonna go play that a bit, laters!
